Wings Over Plainfield
Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things (because it’s only rock ‘n roll blah ditty blah blah) but we played one of our best rock shows ever somewhere in Plainfield over the weekend. I think the set was something like:
1. the End of Everything
2. Sound
3. dil
4. new Instrumental thing
5. Urlacher (for future reference, 2 instrumentals in a row confuses the audience)
6. Spill
7. How Are Things at LaGuardia?
8. Hey Lucky
9. Done
10. Stupid Now
11. Imported Wine and Soul Food
12. B.F.I.
13. Any Questions?
14. She’s a Burner
15. Three’s a Magic Number
16. Real Eyes
17. Norwegian Wood
There was a nice guy at the shindig who claimed that he was the drummer for the Hooodooo Gurus (sp?)…pretty neat. He said that he worked for mTv now – and I said “If you’re looking for a reality show about a one-eyed bass player and the drummer who picked out a Saturn with him”…
Uh, I think this blog just got nuked by our drummer who may or may not drive a Saturn.
